Birthday Card

Happy Friday!!!  Are you looking forward to the weekend!!  We have a graduation party to attend on Saturday for our very good friend's youngest child.
It's also my step-daughters birthday on Saturday  and this is the card I made for her.  The background is white cardstock sponged with Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio... I Love this color!!!... and then flicked with water, blotted and dried.    The doily and flower are both Sizzix Tim Holtz dies.  They were both cut from white cardstock.  The doily was left white, trimmed along the right side and glued to the card with Collage Medium Matte (Ranger).  The pink on the flower is Distress Paint Picked Raspberry.  The green is Distress Marker Mowed Lawn.  There is also a little shimmer on the flower done with Wink of Stella Gl. Clear.  That wonderful happy birthday is a Quietfire Design image from THIS set stamped with Archival Ink Magenta Hue (Ranger), cut as shown, the edges sponged with Magenta Hue and it's attached with foam tape.
